Haiti Flag Day 2022

The 18th Annual Haitian-American Unity Parade held in Boston on Sunday, May 20th, 2018. The Parade is one of several events organized by The Haitian-Americans United, Inc. (H.A.U.) to celebrate Haitian Heritage Month 2018 and the 215th anniversary of the Haitian Flag creation.

The Haitian flag is a symbol of freedom and national sovereignty. Haitian history has had many flags, but each one represented a period of struggle and resistance to oppression. On May 18, the Green Party of the United States Black Caucus will celebrate Haitian Flag Day.

The event will be a teach-in for students and family to learn about Haiti Flag Day, history and culture. The  webinar event will be starting at 7pm Eastern time.
